Course Learning Outcomes List After completing this course in theory and analysis of human skeletal material from an anthropological perspective, the student will be able to:
• Understand the human skeleton as a dynamic system in contemporary forensic context;
• Use and correctly apply anatomical terminology to the general structure and functions of the skeletal system;
• Understand the application and limitations of the methods concerned with the identification of human remains: determination of sex, ancestry, estimation of age at death, manner and cause of death; and
• Read and think critically about human osteological research.
