EDSE 4420 - Mathematics Methods for students with MMSN and ESN3 unit(s) This course prepares future educators to effectively teach mathematics to diverse learners in grades K-12 special education settings. By exploring instructional strategies, assessment techniques, and the use of manipulatives, students will develop the skills to create inclusive and engaging learning environments. This course aligns with the California Mathematics Framework and Common Core Standards, emphasizing evidence-based practices to promote student achievement and foster a lifelong love of mathematics.
This course satisfies the program requirements for the Education Specialist Credential Program and the newly developed Masters of Arts in Teaching Program.
