EDSE 5460 - Advanced Methods for Teaching Students with Extensive Support Needs3 unit(s) Advanced Seminar in Moderate/Severe Disabilities This course will equip MAT candidates to design and implement inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive instruction for students with disabilities. By integrating anti-racist, social justice, and humanizing pedagogies, candidates will learn to leverage students’ strengths and address their unique needs. The course will focus on data-driven instruction, accommodations, modifications, and the development of inclusive classroom environments. Candidates will critically reflect on their practice and engage in scholarly inquiry to advance equity and inclusion in K-12 education.
