HIST 4006 - Oral History

Course introduces students to the process (conducting an interview) and the product (the recorded interview) of oral history. We will look at oral histories as primary source documents (that broaden the historical canvas) and as constructed texts (with limitations of memory and language). Open to Juniors and Seniors only.

Prerequisites: Completion of one year of university-level history, junior status, or consent of instructor.
