Formerly: Practicum in Advanced Practice Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing with Indiv, Groups and Families I An immersive practicum designed to advance expertise in the diagnosis and management of clients with mental health needs across the lifespan. A focus on the adult and geriatric populations, and neurocognitive disorders. Students are required to be admitted to the Post Masters Psychiatric-Mental Health nurse practitioner certificate program. Max allowance for each section of practicum per accreditors is 8.

Corequisites: NURS 5470.

Prerequisites: Admission to the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate program and NURS 5400, 5410, 5420, and 5430.
