NURS 5420 - Theories of Individual, Family, and Group Psychotherapy II2 unit(s) Formerly: Theories of Individual and Family/Group Psychotherapy A continuation and deeper examination of the knowledge and skills needed to conduct thorough clinical psychiatric assessments, make accurate diagnoses, and develop effective psychotherapeutic interventions as an advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. A focus on the ethical, technological, and self-care considerations that play a crucial role in professional practice.
Corequisites: Students will follow the roadmap for the certification.
Prerequisites: Admission to the Post Masters Psychiatric-Mental Health nurse practitioner certificate program and NURS 5400.
