The focus of the course is on the foundational elements in the area of occupational health and safety. The course will give students a brief introduction to the various environmental hazards (physical, chemical, and biological hazards), risks, safety management, safety laws and regulations.Students will gain knowledge of the various professions that interact to protect the health and safety of workers in the workplace.
