COMM 3600 - Public Intellectuals in the Digital Age3 unit(s) (Magazine Editing and Production) This course explores the evolving role of public intellectuals (perceived or actual) in the digital age, examining how digital platforms have reshaped public discourse, democratized intellectual engagement, and created new challenges for credibility, ethics, and influence. Through readings, discussions, and assignments, students will analyze key figures, platforms, and trends while developing their own skills as public intellectuals. Prerequisite: Junior Standing
Prerequisites: Junior standing or consent of instructor.
