GEOG 5250 - Ethnoecology of Southeast Asia

(Offered under the subjects ANTH and GEOG) Drawing on case studies from Island and Mainland Southeast Asia (including southern China) this course explores the long history of human-environmental interaction in the region. We examine the causes of stress and instability in that interaction and the attempts to restore viable relationships and systems.
