CJ 5350 - Immigration and Crime3 unit(s) Empirically examines both historical and contemporary issues of immigration, crime, and immigration control. Evaluates research pertaining to criminal offending and criminal victimization among immigrants via civil and criminal statutes, denial of entry, detentions, and deportations. The course will also look at the empirical research on criminal offending and criminal victimization among immigrants. Open to qualified seniors with instructor permission.
