Formerly: Practicum in Advanced Practice Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing with Indiv, Groups and Families II An immersive practicum designed to advance expertise in the diagnosis and management of clients with mental health issues across the lifespan, with a focus on individuals in inpatient and substance use disorder treatment settings, population health needs, mental health advocacy, and systemic change. Students are required to be admitted to the Post Masters Psychiatric-Mental Health nurse practitioner certificate program. Per accreditation standards practicum sections can be a max of 8.

Corequisites: NURS 5460.

Prerequisites: Admission to the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate program and NURS 5400, 5410, 5420, 5430, 5440, 5450, 5470, and 5490.
