GEOL 3060 - Planetary Science and Engineering

(Same as NSCI 3060) Focus is on geologic processes, adopting a comparative approach that demonstrates the similarities and differences between planets. Brings together aspects of Solar System formation, mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, volcanology, sedimentology, geomorphology, tectonics, geophysics and remote sensing. Includes discussion of exploration of planets and moons using satellites, rovers, and crewed missions.
