Exploration of the rhetorical and organizational forces behind contemporary activism, collective action, power, and resistance. Studying social movements in local, national, and global contexts provide students with broad understanding of the issues, methods, and outcomes of organized collective action.  

Prerequisites: Junior or Senior standing.
