ENGL 5650 - Seminar in American Literature: Genres

Course will focus on a particular genre of American Literature. Topics may include traditional genres (The Novel, Drama, etc.) or genre more broadly construed (detective fiction, sentimental lyric, slave narrative, etc.). May be repeated once, if topic is different, for credit. Specific topics assigned by the instructor.

Prerequisites: Graduate Standing or consent of the English Graduate Coordinator.
