AGEC 4640 - Current Issues in World Food Economy3 unit(s) (Same as ECON 4640) Topics covered include factors driving changing global food consumption patterns; causes of food price surges and implications for poverty, hunger, malnutrition, and food security; drivers of food supply; resource use and the environment; and international agricultural trade policy. Open to Juniors and Seniors only.
Prerequisites: ECON 2500 and ECON 2510/AGEC 2510 or consent of instructor.
