NURS 3900 - Mental Health Nursing

Emphasizes the spectrum of psychiatric/mental health nursing across the lifespan. Students learn mental health promotion and illness prevention as well as nursing assessment and management of common psychiatric conditions in various settings. Open to Nursing majors only.

Corequisites: NURS 3910.

Prerequisites: Admission to the pre-licensure nursing programs, students must follow pre-licensure curricular roadmap or consent of instructor.
