NURS 3000 - Health Assessment

(Formerly NURS 2000) Course will focus on comprehensive health assessment, the nursing process, and its relationship to health promotion and disease prevention across the lifespan. Students are expected to identify and assess pathophysiological principles to selected health issues across the lifespan. Open to Nursing majors only.

Prerequisites: Admission to the pre-licensure nursing program where students must follow curricular roadmap.

Hours: (Lecture, 2 hours; laboratory, 3 hours; 1 clinical experience day per semester)
