KINS 4200 - Motor Learning3 unit(s) (Formerly PHED 4200) The application of psychological factors relating to the acquisition or performance of perceptual-motor skills. Emphasis upon the structure and function of the nervous system with specific reference to adaptive motor control. Includes an examination of the neurological integration involved in the maintenance of posture, orientation in space, and patterning of voluntary movement. Limited to junior and senior Kinesiology and Liberal Studies majors.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1010/1020, ZOOL 2250, ZOOL 2235.
