EDEL 9001 - Qualitative Research for Transformative Policy and Practice Change

(Formerly Qualitative Research for Scholar-Practitioners) Qualitative research; structured class inquiry, data collection, and data analysis; design of original qualitative studies, and writing of research results. Emphasis on the relationship between research and practice. In particular, students will review the foundations of qualitative research and expand their understanding of research design, fieldwork, data analysis, evaluation, and interpretation. Students will employ this increased knowledge as critical consumers and creators of research.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Ed.D. Program.
