COMM 4130 - Communication and Aging3 unit(s) Provides a framework for better understanding the process of cross-generational communication and the improvement of communication competencies for interaction with older persons. Covers such topics as interpersonal communication dispositions of the long living, sensory barriers to effective communication, communication perspectives in social psychological theories of aging, and the influence of context.
