Applies instructional and training communication theory to the process of training, consulting, and instruction in a variety of contexts. Students gain experience in assessing needs; developing objectives, a training plan, and presentation materials; delivering a multimedia training presentation; and reporting training outcomes through a consultative process.

Prerequisites: Junior standing or consent of instructor. COMM 3110 recommended.
