COGS 2300 - Scientific Methods and Models3 unit(s) (Formerly Cognitive Simulations) Introduction to methods used in scientific research, with emphasis on theories, models, and simulations. Focus on quantitative/mathematical tools and techniques for design and analysis of experiments, with particular attention to interdisciplinary approaches useful in cognitive science.
Prerequisites: Math Placement category 1 or 2, or MATH 1070, or MATH 1072, or MATH 1600, or Math 1602.
