CJ 5325 - Advanced Seminar in Domestic Violence3 unit(s) Analysis of domestic abuse and violence, including cohabitative heterosexual and homosexual partners and juvenile intimate abuse. Includes state and federal laws pertaining to domestic violence, battered woman’s syndrome, self-defense in homicide cases, cyclical violence, treatment for batterers, children in abusive environments, and patricide.
Prerequisites: Graduate standing.
