Topics covered are the interview process, taking a psychiatric history, the family psychiatric history, symptom review for diagnosis, and integrating the treatment plan with the patient. Open to Post Masters Psychiatric-Mental Health APRN certificate students only.

Corequisites: Need to follow the roadmap for the certification.

Prerequisites: Be admitted to the Post Masters Psychiatric-Mental Health APRN certificate; NURS 5400, 5410, 5420, 5430.
