THEA 3520 - Theatre History II (WP)3 unit(s) (Formerly DRAM 3520 The Modern Theatre; formerly Romantic and Modern Theatre) A study of American and European theatre from the mid-19th century to the present. Special attention will be paid to the independent theatre movement, the role of playwright, director, and actor, and the impact of social, economic, and political factors on the development of the contemporary theatre. This course is a continuation of THEA 3510.
Satisfies upper-division writing requirement.
