PHYS 4450 - Introduction to Particle Physics

(Nuclear and Particle Physics) Introductory course in Particle Physics, also known as High Energy Physics. The course will cover our current understanding of the fundamental make-up of our universe. Study the properties of quarks, leptons and gauge bosons with their associated strong, electromagnetic and weak forces in a relativistic and quantum mechanical setting.

Prerequisites: PHYS 3520 or consent of instructor.
