PHIL 2230 - Modern Philosophy3 unit(s) A study of the main themes and issues in the history of 17th and 18th century European philosophy. Special attention will be paid to the close relationship between the development of philosophical ideas during this period and the rise of modern science. Emphasis will be placed on the writings of Descartes, Hume, and Kant.
