MUS 3620 - Collaborative Piano and Accompanying I

Fundamental techniques of accompanying for various performance media, with emphasis on development of fundamental skills integral to piano accompanying in a variety of functions and settings. Sightreading, reading, and improvisational skills are stressed. Students may be assigned to work with other student performers and/or classes. May be repeated for a total of eight (8) units.

Prerequisites: Consent of instructor if student is not a piano major.
