MSCI 3350 - Physiology of Marine Algae4 unit(s) (Formerly MSCI 3550) A lecture/laboratory course which develops a physiological basis for understanding the adaptation of marine algae (seaweeds and microalgae) to their environment. Students will learn modern methods in physiological research, covering areas such a photosynthesis, respiration, enzyme activity, and biochemical composition.
Corequisites: MSCI 3352.
Prerequisites: MSCI 3030, 3310, 3440, or consent of instructor.
