HIST 5800 - History Pedagogy

This class introduces students to the theory and practice of teaching history. Students will engage critically with ethical questions, analyze pedagogical approaches, and create their own teaching materials. By the end of the semester, students will leave the class with a working syllabus that is ready for implementation in a lower-division class in either U.S. or World History. Open to History MA students only.

Prerequisites: Advanced coursework in History.
