ANTH 4100 - Medical Anthropology3 unit(s) Course will introduce students to cross-cultural conceptions of illness, treatment, health, and different healing systems. Students will learn and apply the theories, methods, and praxis which are encapsulated in this vibrant subdiscipline of Medical Anthropology. Ultimately, students will assess how cultures, societies, and power shape health behavior, disease, and well-being.
