Students are provided with foundational practicum experiences necessary for the management of individuals across the life span, including mental wellness promotion, psychiatric illness prevention, and psychiatric treatment in patients from diverse backgrounds. Students are required to be admitted to the Post Masters Psychiatric-Mental Health APRN certificate.

Corequisites: NURS 5400, NURS 5420, NURS 5430.

Prerequisites: Must hold a master’s degree from an accredited school of nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
