KINS 4700 - Biomechanics

Course provides a foundation of biomechanics and its application to human movement. Anatomical and mechanical principles of human movement will be explored with an emphasis on activities pertaining to sport, exercise, and physical activity. Course also includes a laboratory section where concepts fro lecture are applied to practical situations.  Limited to junior and senior standing Kinesiology majors.

Prerequisites: BIOL 1010/1020, ZOOL 2250, ZOOL 2235, MATH 1600 or 1602, CHEM 1100 & 1102, KINS 4400.

Hours: (Lecture, 3 hours; laboratory, 3 hours)
