KINS 3700 - Sport in Society (WP)3 unit(s) (Formerly PHED 3700) Introduction to the theoretical study of sport and its relationship to culture and society; investigation and analysis of literature that is concerned with the individual and his/her involvement in play, game, and sport. Emphasis will be on corporate sport and its impact on social institutions and processes. Limited to junior and senior standing Kinesiology majors.
Satisfies upper-division writing proficiency requirement.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1010/1020, ZOOL 2250, ZOOL 2235.
