ETHS 2200 - Introduction to Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies3 unit(s) The Asian American Experience Course examines how Asian American and Pacific Islander studies emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s during an intensified political context in the U.S. and around the world. Students, faculty, and community members organized to improve their realities, which included establishing and institutionalizing the field in higher education.
Satisfies G.E. area D2 or area F and the Multicultural Requirement.
