HSCI 3010 - Foundations of Community and Population Health3 unit(s) Foundations in Community Health Introduction to the theories and scientific basis of population health in diverse communities. Physical, mental, sociocultural, and environmental health concerns of communities and populations are addressed in regards to risk of disease, injuries, and exposures. Policy, resource allocation, and interdisciplinary approaches as means to managing these issues are explored.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment: HSCI 3000.
