An exploration of scientific concepts, theories and principles necessary to understand disease processes and health risks and to evaluate complementary/alternative treatments. Cultural/language considerations impacting health and the healthcare system. Open to Juniors and Seniors in Health Science Majors only.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Health Sciences program.
