HIST 4920 - History of Genocide

Course aims to better understand the phenomenon of genocide in the modern era. We will explore the evolution of the term genocide, why and how genocide occurs, what happens after genocide, and the challenges of genocide recognition and prosecution. These questions will be explored across a wide range of case studies spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa.  Open to Juniors and Seniors only.
