GEOG 2012 - Introduction to Physical Geography Laboratory1 unit(s) Course is a laboratory to accompany GEOG 2010 - Introduction to Physical Geography . A series of exercises involving weather, climate, and landforms with emphasis on problem solving, map reading, and landscape interpretation. Students will use maps, globes, models, meteorological instruments and records, GIS, GPS receivers, satellite photos, and observation of the local scene.
Satisfies G.E. area B3.
Prerequisites: Prior or concurrent enrollment in GEOG 2010.
