Introduction to the spectrum of psychiatric/mental health nursing across the lifespan. Students learn mental health promotion and illness prevention as well as nursing assessment and management of common psychiatric conditions in various settings.

Corequisites: NURS 3910.

Prerequisites: Admission to the pre-licensure nursing program, students must follow pre-licensure curricular roadmap or consent of instructor.
