NURS 3000 - Health Assessment

(Formerly NURS 2000) Course will focus on comprehensive health assessment, the nursing process, and its relationship to health promotion and disease prevention across the life span. Students are expected to identify and apply pathophysiological principles to selected health issues across the lifespan.

Prerequisites: Admission to the pre-licensure nursing program where students must follow curricular roadmap, or admission to the RN to BSN program.

Hours: (Lecture, 2 hours; laboratory, 3 hours)
