MDIS 5900 - Introduction to Research Methods3 unit(s) This course provides an introduction to different research approaches including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. Students will locate, evaluate, and interpret research representing the various approaches, as well as practice analyzing data using appropriate software. Students will identify possible thesis/project topics and draft a preliminary research prospectus. Meets the IS Graduate Research Methods and Graduate Writing Competency requirements.
