Emphasis on the principles of chemistry and the impact of chemistry on society. Students use cooperative learning projects to develop experiments and demonstrations applicable to the elementary school classroom. Designed specifically for future teachers (LIBS Integrative Inquiry). (Not applicable to the major or minor in Chemistry.)

Prerequisites: Completion of lower- and upper-division science requirements for the Liberal Studies program.
