BIOL 4110 - Concepts in Epidemiology3 unit(s) Introduction to the history, current concepts and basic fundamentals of epidemiology including how factors interact to influence communicable and non-communicable diseases (i.e. an agent-host-environment paradigm when examining patterns of disease), and the methods utilized for the prevention and control of disease.
Prerequisites: MBIO 3010, or ZOOL 4440, or consent of instructor.
