BIOL 4110 - Concepts in Epidemiology

Introduction to the history, current concepts and basic fundamentals of epidemiology including how factors interact to influence communicable and non-communicable diseases (i.e. an agent-host-environment paradigm when examining patterns of disease), and the methods utilized for the prevention and control of disease.

Prerequisites: MBIO 3010, or ZOOL 4440, or consent of instructor.

Hours: (Lecture, 2 hour; activity, 2 hours)
