EDEL 9016 - Seminar: Educational Leadership and Career Planning

Drawing upon fundamental leadership theories and through the lenses of Social Capital Theory and Communities of Practice, students will engage in dynamic interactions with fellow students and members of the Stan Educational Leadership Community, including graduates of the EdD program. Drawing upon doctoral program learning, interactive experiences within an Educational Leadership Community of Practice, and their professional context, students will establish professional networks to support ongoing development as scholar-practitioners. Students will actively engage in self-reflection to develop and refine a personal leadership framework and a career-focused leadership portfolio.
