An introduction to fundamental concepts in the design and implementation of Android mobile applications. Topics to be covered may include: Android mobile software stack and application architecture, components of an Android application, accessing hardware resources (sensors, camera, Bluetooth, and more), getting data from the Internet or database systems, designing and making advanced Android applications.

Prerequisites: CS 1500.
