(Formerly Social Work Practice: Substance Abuse) Course provides students with social work practice skills related to addiction issues. Exploration of research-supported assessment practices and intervention strategies are also covered along with social and physiological aspects of addiction. Meets BBS Addictions/Substance Abuse licensure requirements.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Social Work Program or department approval.
