KINS 4530 - Holistic Health3 unit(s) (Formerly Health in a Diverse Society) Course explores the traditional ways of health and healing practices rooted in different ethnic groups and the role of selected complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) practices and promotions in the healthcare system. Emphasis will be placed on experiential ways to promote healing and optimum health in the individual. Limited to junior and senior standing Kinesiology majors.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1010/1020, or MBIO 2010, or MBIO 3010/3032 and ZOOL 2250, ZOOL 2235, MATH 1600 or 1602 and KINS 1000.
