Laboratory to accompany GEOL 2100 or GEOL 2400. Classification of minerals and rocks; reading and interpreting topographic and geologic maps; studies of selected problems in plate tectonics, structural geology, groundwater, and mass movement.

Prerequisites: Pre or corequisite: GEOL 2100 or GEOL 2400. [Required for Geology majors and those seeking a teaching credential in the sciences; otherwise optional.]
