CJ 3100 - Legal Research and Writing4 unit(s) Concentration in writing skills to improve the student’s ability to communicate effectively in the legal context and engage students in practicing critical analysis of criminal case law and specific clauses in the Bill of Rights. Includes preparing a Motion to Suppress or Opposition to Motion to Suppress and making an oral argument in support of the student’s research, analytical and critical thinking skills, and advocacy. Open to Juniors and Seniors Only.
Prerequisites: CJ 2250, CJ 2255, CJ 2280, and CJ 4141 (may take concurrently).
